Franz Schrörs

Franz Schrörs (*1987, Wuppertal), works in visual/puppet theater, programs and explores the animation of sound. After quitting school (2006), they sat in on and assisted – still listening to the name Franka – various works of various directors at Düsseldorfer. A temporary leave from the theater followed. During this time Franz drew illustrations, made music and wrote fairy tales and dialogues for computer games. From 2016 to 2020 they studied puppetry and visual theatre in Stuttgart. In 2019 they produced the immersive radio play podcast "Raccoon Radio", for which they also wrote the music. Since 2020 Franz lives and works in Leipzig. Their graduation-piece “8 Minuten Klarheit” was nominated for the Fritz Wortelmann Prize in 2021.
